2 1/2 Weeks To Go!!

I'm sure most of you have noticed that I'm not very good about updating my blog. You've probably given up on me. I don't blame you. My last post was about 4 months ago announcing that we're having a little girl, and now I'm telling you that I'll be having her in 2 1/2 weeks. Time sure does fly by! I had a doctor appointment yesterday and she strongly recommended that I have a c-section. I would prefer not to, but I do want what's best for me and the baby. If I didn't have such big babies, I wouldn't have to worry about this. Hopefully she'll be smaller than my boys. So her birthday will be April 18th unless she decides to come earlier which could be a possibility. I'm already dilated to a 3 and 80% effaced and my doctor could feel the top of her head. WOW! So in the meantime, I'm just trying to get the nursery done and everything in order because who knows when our precious little girl will be here?

EXCITING NEWS!!!

A few of you already know this, but most don't because I haven't really told a lot of people. But.....I am 17 weeks pregnant and we just found out yesterday that we're going to have a little.................GIRL! We are so excited. I would've been happy too if it was another boy, but I have to admit I did want a girl. What mom wouldn't want a girl to be able to go shopping with? From the first day we told Hayden that I was going to have a baby, he said that he wanted a baby sister and so he's happy too. We're just so thankful to be able to welcome another sweet little baby into our family.

HALLOWEEN

For those of you that read my blog, you'll notice that I'm not very consistent about updating my blog. I know that Halloween was several weeks ago, but I figure it's better late than never to post my pictures.

This year we went over to John & Courtney's house and ate dinner and then took the kids trick or treating. By the time Hayden and Bella got back, their bags were completely full. We are still working on the candy.

Disneyland!!!

Two weeks ago we went to Disneyland with my parents and my brother and his family. We had a really good time and didn't want to come back. I think Disneyland will be one of our regular family vacation spots. We left on a Saturday evening and came back Wednesday night. So it was a short but fun vacation. October was a really good time to go and there were a lot of Halloween decorations all over Disneyland. We were there on Hayden's birthday and he thought that was pretty cool. He got to wear a badge that said it's his birthday and so a lot of people would tell him happy birthday. I'm sure we'll be back there in a couple of years.

Fall

Earlier this week we went for a drive up Big Cottonwood Canyon to see all the changing colors. The scenery was beautiful. We stopped up at Silver Lake and walked around. There weren't as many colors at the lake but it was still nice. I love Fall and I'm glad we have the beautiful mountains to go to and enjoy it.

Jacksonhole/Yellowstone Trip

Last week we went up to Jacksonhole with Matt's family. We rented a really nice house and enjoyed spending time there. We left last Wednesday and stopped at Bear World in Rexburg, ID. There were bears just roaming around and some came so close to the car. They also had a petting zoo which the kids enjoyed. Thursday we went to a place called Bar J Wranglers. They have a chuckwagaon dinner and then a band for entertainment. Friday we went rafting down the Snake River. That was my first time going and I was a little nervous but it was a lot of fun. Saturday we went and saw the Tetons and then to Yellowstone. We saw Old Faithful and some of the other Geysers, but the only animals we saw were some elk as we were coming down the canyon. The scenery is so beautiful in Jacksonhole and the Tetons.

July 24th (Pioneer Day)

On July 24th (Pioneer Day), we went to Liberty Park and had a picnic and rode the few rides they had. Then we met my family at the Bee's game and stayed after to watch the fireworks. It was probably one of the best firework displays I've seen.
