Kindergarten, here I come!!

Hayden started his first day of school today and he absolutely loved it! I thought he would've been a little nervous to go, but he proved me wrong. He was so excited to ride the bus, and I'm sure it made it easier because two of his buddies ride the same bus and are in his class. This morning he asked me if I was going to miss him and I said yes. Instead of him saying that he was going to miss me too, he said he was going to miss Addison. He just loves his little sister. I can't believe that I have a kindergartener(time goes by way too fast). I am so proud of him and I know that he is going to learn so much this year!

Summertime Fun!

Yesterday we went to the Kearns outdoor pool with Matt's family. It's a fun place to go, especially with little kids. Hayden went non-stop for 2 1/2 hours. I wasn't ready to get into a swimming suit yet, so I really didn't take part in all the fun.

4th of July

On the 4th, we went across the street to our good friends John & Courtney's and had a barbecue followed by a great firework show. John and his family had gone to Evanston to get the fireworks and it was a lot of fun watching them.

Addison

Those of you that are reading this are probably thinking it's about time I put some pictures of Addison on here now that she is almost 7 weeks old. I don't know about those of you that have three kids, but it has been an adjustment for me. I often feel that I don't have enough time to get things done around my house, let alone update my blog. Since my kids are sleeping, I thought now was a good time.

Addison was born April 18th at 7:29 a.m. She weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces and 20 inches long. She is such a sweet little baby and brings so much happiness to our home. Her big brothers love her so much and I know they are going to be her protectors. Hayden calls her his sweetheart and every morning when he wakes up he has to come in and give her a kiss. Tate calls her baby or Addie and is constantly in her face giving kisses or trying to shove the binki in her mouth.(I'm sure she loves that) She still mostly sleeps and eats, but is more aware of her surroundings now. It's crazy how much they can change in a couple of weeks. I'm still not sure who she looks like, but she does resemble Hayden when he was a baby. It is so much fun having a little girl and I know she'll be my shopping buddy when she gets older. Hopefully she'll like Target as much as I do!(:

Enjoy the pictures!!

2 1/2 Weeks To Go!!

I'm sure most of you have noticed that I'm not very good about updating my blog. You've probably given up on me. I don't blame you. My last post was about 4 months ago announcing that we're having a little girl, and now I'm telling you that I'll be having her in 2 1/2 weeks. Time sure does fly by! I had a doctor appointment yesterday and she strongly recommended that I have a c-section. I would prefer not to, but I do want what's best for me and the baby. If I didn't have such big babies, I wouldn't have to worry about this. Hopefully she'll be smaller than my boys. So her birthday will be April 18th unless she decides to come earlier which could be a possibility. I'm already dilated to a 3 and 80% effaced and my doctor could feel the top of her head. WOW! So in the meantime, I'm just trying to get the nursery done and everything in order because who knows when our precious little girl will be here?
